Elior North America Lead / Supervisor (Seasonal) in Saint Paul, Minnesota

A Team Lead / Supervisor does a variety of functions Their primary role is supervising cashiers and other staff, while giving direction as needed. Leads also are responsible for doing voids, exchanges, and returns. A Lead / Supervisor must be professional and courteous to all customers and staff. While following Lancers policies, a Lead must also be comfortable with change in direction at different projects assigned daily by managers. The Lead oversees cash and credit transactions in a high volume setting for food and beverage products to ensure accurate accounting of items sold. They also take direction from the Food Service Manager and/or Executive Chefs to assist with food preparation and clean-up as needed before and after serving times. Responds to customer questions and suggestions regarding our menu and service. Must have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service for every customer, every time.

Knowledge of quick serve food practices and both worker safety and sanitation standards in a food service environment:

  • Assists in scheduling staff break times and covers breaks when needed

  • Direct employees on specific tasks for that day in accordance with the Manager

  • Oversee staff to ensure they are providing quality customer service activities

  • Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license number; operating credit card authorization system

  • Assists Food Service Team with exemplary customer service practices and helps to manage escalated customer questions or concerns

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
