Elior North America Lead / Supervisor (Seasonal) in Saint Paul, Minnesota
A Team Lead / Supervisor does a variety of functions Their primary role is supervising cashiers and other staff, while giving direction as needed. Leads also are responsible for doing voids, exchanges, and returns. A Lead / Supervisor must be professional and courteous to all customers and staff. While following Lancers policies, a Lead must also be comfortable with change in direction at different projects assigned daily by managers. The Lead oversees cash and credit transactions in a high volume setting for food and beverage products to ensure accurate accounting of items sold. They also take direction from the Food Service Manager and/or Executive Chefs to assist with food preparation and clean-up as needed before and after serving times. Responds to customer questions and suggestions regarding our menu and service. Must have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service for every customer, every time.
Knowledge of quick serve food practices and both worker safety and sanitation standards in a food service environment:
Assists in scheduling staff break times and covers breaks when needed
Direct employees on specific tasks for that day in accordance with the Manager
Oversee staff to ensure they are providing quality customer service activities
Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license number; operating credit card authorization system
Assists Food Service Team with exemplary customer service practices and helps to manage escalated customer questions or concerns
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
