Job Overview: Elior North America is looking for a Cash Office Manager to join our Corporate Team in our Ridgeland, MS office. This role is part of our Shared Services team that supports the mission of our 1500 accounts across the US.

The Cash Office Manager is responsible for the Company’s cash receipts and revenue reconciliation process. The individual will manage a team of 2- 7 people.

The finance team and majority of the Elior North America corporate staff are working remotely at the current time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage rollout of cash management procedures throughout Elior-NA for entities

  • Optimize the process and toolkit to ensure controls are functioning without interrupting business processes

  • Maintain strong relationships with client delivery teams to ensure understanding and compliance with policy.

  • Maintain training and communication around cash policy

  • Ensure weekly reconciliation of cash to revenue for multiple segments and units

  • Performs training and mentoring to multiple segments/units as well as to financial management and other departments within Shared Services

  • Performs procedures pertaining to the cash management reporting and bank reconciliation

  • Performs research and analysis of cash control processes and procedures

  • Manage and maintain expanding team responsibility

  • Support other areas of Operations Accounting as needed.

  • Ability to work with database and ERP systems, including ad hoc reports.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills with G/L analytical skills

  • Must be able to reconcile general ledger cash accounts to bank statements

  • Must be customer service oriented

  • Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to accept and adapt to change

  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision in a team environment – self-motivated

  • Experienced people leader adept at organizing the team’s work to ensure workload balancing and deadline adherence.

  • People development and coaching experience

  • Process owner of the cash office work

  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of functional accounting experience.

  • Prior leadership role preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business-related field.

  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
