The Role at a glance:

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide HR support while fostering a healthy, efficient, and positive workplace by ensuring that HR processes/procedures are executed consistently and seamlessly. In this role you will provide “Level 1” HR support for Operations Leaders across Elior’s 5 segments. You are responsible for supporting reporting, projects, programs and initiatives related to Framework (HRIS system), Payroll, Employee Relations, Leaves of Absence, etc.

This is a support position, and we need an individual who enjoys supporting data, reporting, payroll, and able to interpret and explain our policies.

What you'll be doing:

• Working in the HR ticketing system (Zen Desk) to quickly and efficiently respond to employee and manager questions

• Seeking ways to improve and document HR process, transactions and outcomes

• Conducting initial investigations of level 1 Employee Relations issues and HR based transactional issues

• Maintain open communication channels with hourly employees to resolve pay related issues

• Assist site leaders with Kronos and pay related transactions

• Working with Framework (HRIS system) to assist managers and employees with transactions, including manager and employee self-service

• Support the leave of absence processing including leave administration and accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act

• Organizational Charts Maintenance

• File management

• Managing unemployment claims

What we're looking for:

Must Haves:

• 2-4 years of HR experience

• Excellent customer service experience

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

• Experience in interpreting and communicating policies

• Experience in supporting employee payroll questions

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel – pivot tables, vlookup, etc.

• Travel: minimal for open enrollment, business needs, training (less than 10%)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working with Success Factors (SAP) modules (e.g., Employee Central, Onboarding, etc.)

• Experience with a ticketing system (Zendesk preferred)

• Experience with Leave of Absences

Where you'll be working:

This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US.
